I do understand teacher why they need the improvement of the situation but I have a suggestion: if they want to change something in the system, teachers should start changing their attitude to their profession...because no one takes them seriously and money wouldn't change the situation. In my opinion, it is waste of time and resources in order to get something for our educational system which is in agony and I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel. I truly love David Ben-Gurion's saying "In Israel, in order to be realist, you must believe in miracles!" To my great disappointment, we cannot afford miracles! It is your annoying strikebreaking English teacher. Every year we begin with that kind of action. And every year we have fun of it. At least at first; we have much more free time, we can spend some time home, in bad. But the current strike does not really make us happy. Especially becuase we are not ninth grade anymore and we have Bagrut exams this year, we have to study, study and again study. Moreover, Teachers, have a rest! a MONTH length is too much for a ordinal strike action. If you think of it, NONE of us gains of it. A teachers strike is a normal thing in the Israeli education. Who doesn’t love to get some free time from school, teachers and the studying? But when I think of it again, I understand that strikes are bad news for students. So students, stand together! Fight till the last minute, and get your lost study hours! To tell you the truth, I love strikes!
